Ramesh Fabricators is the flag ship company started by Mr. Ramesh Sathe in 1967.
Ramesh Sathe, a mechanical engineer, started a tiny unit manufacturing tin lids with meager capital and with only two hand presses in March 1967. Slowly business expanded and a small factory manufacturing tin containers was started at Pune in 1968. The product range also expanded when younger brother Anant joined the business. Wet grinders for hotel industry was need in Pune so this item started in 1970, then auto filters, minidrafters for Engineering students also came on the list.

In 1996, export of weight lifting weights was started to the European market, this business expanded to export materials for projects funded by multi lateral agencies like World Bank, UNDP, etc.
